At one point Reichert claimed to support diversity by noting that as Sheriff he had ‘an all female staff’ - which just came across a creepy…

Maybe the Ferguson campaign should take out some ads with Reichert’s “I will protect your rights, ladies” line. Every female voter I know will love the condescension.

It's too bad. Washington voters deserve a viable Republican alternative, locally as well as nationally. At least Reichert puts his personal views aside in favor of good governance.

@2 I didn't see the debates yet but hiring women is indeed supporting diversity and not "condescension." It's "show me the money," not "show me the politically correct speech," aka empty platitudes.
