I don't know how Trump's remark about returning from school as another gender implies surgery. Or drugs. I've been told by several LGBTQ+ people that when Bobby comes home, announces that he is now a she, named Bonnie and could (s)he please have a dress, that was sufficient for the redefinition. The idea that hormones, puberty blockers or surgery were necessary is the invention of Big Gender. Particularly if the work is irreversible.

Because next month, Bonnie will come home and announce that she is now a cowboy. And where is the hat, boots and lasso? Go ahead. Try on all the uniforms. Just don't declare a major yet.
