The 28th Annual Easton Memorial Day Celebration
Our tradition started in 1991 with the intent on bringing the community together. This Celebration has grown from chicken poop bingo and lawn mower races to a day full of family fun all while reflecting to the true meaning of Memorial Day.
On this day, we honor the heroes who serve, have served, and those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our great country. Additionally we pay tribute to the law enforcement, firefighters and emergency medical personnel. Our “Wall of Heroes” pays respect to local citizens that served and is a must see while attending this Celebration.
Every year, next to the Wall of Heroes, we hold a silent auction of 3-5 generously donated items. We are proud to announce that this year’s recipient for 100% of the proceeds is the Fisher House Foundation. The Fisher House Foundation provides “a home away from home” for families of patients receiving medical care at military and VA medical centers at no cost.
Don’t miss it! The Easton Fire Department Pancake Breakfast runs from 8:00 am - 10:30am. The car show starts at 9am. The street fair, Kid Zone, motorcycle show, raffle ticket sales and silent auction all begin at 10:00 am. The grand parade at noon! We invite you to come and celebrate with us!" (Promo Copy)
