Máscaras, a three-piece Portland group, play progressively informed mental instrumentals with heavy indie undertones. It’s good. I’d almost consider their jams to be (ahem) “soothing.” Like, I want their music with movies made to match, or perhaps it could at least be a soundtrack for a badass Steve McQueen–style car chase.
