And sure, one brags about his golf scores, while another brags about his Grouse Grind times, but that's just different fonts.

The sort of satire that pleases the middle class without really wounding the aristos, Gilbert and Sullivan-style; instead of a sure skewering that guarantees revenge at a later date, as Oscar Wilde discovered.
