So Elon Musk is blaming activists for advertisers deserting Twitter?

Ah, the cognitive dissonance of the cowboy capitalist. Your company is doing well due to market forces? That's the power of the free market at work. Your company is tanking due to market forces? Oh, the system is rigged.

It may come as a shock to Elon, whose companies in Tesla and SpaceX don't need to advertise, but advertisers don't want their brands associated with cesspools of hate speech, spam, and in-your-face porn.

Srlsy y’all need to get off Twitter. It’s always been problematic but now it’s owned by Musk. Tired of seeing folks cry “fight misinformation, save democracy etc” from a platform that has done so much damage to this country.

“Elon Musk lays off half of Twitter…”

Great! Any chance we can now get him to lay off the other half?
