Maryland-based "queer black diva" MHYSA is sure to be a highlight at Corridor. NON Bandcamp

The third annual multimedia spectacular Corridor will take place Saturday, February 24, at a location to be determined. Dubbed a "festival of light, sound, and movement," Corridor has proved over its first two editions to be one of the highlights of Seattle's underground culture. Its arrival in the dead of winter offers a rare respite from the season's grim weather and relative dearth of exciting musical activity.

Corridor 2018's first wave of artist bookings includes abstract-electronic producer/vocalist MHYSA, an American member of the international collective NON, which advocates for radical Afro-centric artistic expression; Canadian Yu Su (half of the excellent You're Me), maker of enchanting, exotica-tinged electronic compositions; Tacoma hardcore-techno badass ASDFS; dancer Matt Drews; and an installation by computer-music sorcerer Cameron Shafii and video artist/sculptor Alex Boschenstein. Many more artists will be added to the bill, and we'll update you when that occurs.
