I'd vote for either Biden/Demings or Biden/Harris in a heartbeat. Trump must lose. It's that simple. I'm not going to wait for perfection, bash Biden, and get snarky and mean-spirited. And, no, Biden is not going to "abandon the progressive wing of the party." He's trying to find the best balance, respecting all elements of the party while appealing at least somewhat to the center. Unlike journalist and pundits, Biden is actually running and needs to win, and most of the country is not that far left. Good for Biden. From the get-go, The Stranger has insulted and disparaged Biden and his campaign. Sure, he's got his problems--but I'll take him any day over Trump. And, fortunately, despite some gaffes he's run a smart campaign. Four more years of Trump is not an option. Biden is his opponent. It's one or the other. Go, Joe!

As Democratic voters know, no-one can blow an election like the Dems.
The good news is that many of the suburbs shifted away from the GOP in 2018, and Trump have given them even less reason to come back.
Susan Rice would also be a good VP pick.

@1 - well put. Here in Seattle it's easy to lose track of where the rest of the country is (well to the right of us). Biden's VP is going to be chosen based at least partly on how he/she (almost certainly she) best helps the ticket beat Trump into the ground. That is at it should be.

So the much-anticipated rally turned out to be a big dud.
Which puts us in an interesting place going forward.
A few observations- one, there were a TON of empty seats. This has to be an unexpected crisis for the Trump campaign.
Also, as I predicted, a largely white crowd had the black faces consolidated into camera view.
And obviously no one in Oklahoma has gotten the memo about COVID-19.
Relatively few masks, and folks were clustered together like puppies in an indoor environment.
I mean, wtf? Has the Republican Party become a suicide pact?

Yakima Covid Case Increase: I wonder if the jump of infections has anything to do with the "Covid Parties" happening in Eastern Washington that I read about on Reddit a month or so ago, where people were intentionally getting infected at private social events organized for that purpose.

Anyone have any updates on those?

Young progressives are delusional?

Andrew Young (a Billionaire) is not your typical Asian voter.

A typical Asian voter cares about their children's education the most. Schools like Harvard will rather have a "C" Black student, than "A" Asian student. That is the definition of racism. Trump is smartly suing Harvard to get the Asian votes. I know a lot of Asians who voted Hilary, but will vote Trump this time. From talking to my California friends, Asians (~17% of California population) will put that state in play. Scary enough for you.

After all these protest, riots, looting, Trump's approval with Black voters rose to 40%.

That's why I keep saying, stop doing stupid crap to help Trump.
Stop supporting Antifa; stop supporting CHAZ; ...
all you are doing is tilting the swing votes to Trump.
