the last thing we need is more people in government who have no idea what they're doing - especially during a pandemic. this debate makes what everyone already knows clear: one candidate knows what the hell they're doing when it comes to making laws; the other one simply does not - and you know exactly which is which.

67% of ballots are counted in King County as of this article, so I don't think this debate changes the outcome. should have happened a month ago but whatever. let's hope we dodge a couple major bullets next week.

@1 In the 43rd district (where this race takes place), 72% of ballots have been returned already WOW

"they didn't seem to know how much they wanted to tax the profits of stock sales. When asked how much the state should tax capital gains, they adopted a guessing tone and said "5%,"

Can we please stop electing people based on how many catchy woke policies they can spout off? Because these people are clearly all talk and no substance.
Hey, look, I can be a super-progressive candidate too! "Lived experience! Equitable! BIPOC investment! Harm reduction! Defund!".
Do I win?

4

Why do you refer to Chopp as "he," "his," but Lascelles as "their," "them," and "they"? It's jarring and puerile.

5

@4 Because that's Lascelles' pronouns. They're non-binary.

6

@3 -- changes to the Lexicon
may feel a little Jarring
initially.

7

@6 -- oops, so Close!
not @3, silly -- @4.

[still Lovin' this Edit feature!
thnx, tS!]

Please wait...

and remember to be decent to everyone
all of the time.
